The Lise Watier PerfeXion Anti-Aging skincare line contains 4 products: a serum, a day cream, an eye cream, and a night cream. I didn’t manage to get my hands on the eye cream corrector as they were out of stock, however, I did manage to grab the other 3 that were available in a gift set.
These products come in silvery, sophisticated packaging in the form of squeeze tubes and pump bottles. I personally don’t like my products to come in jars as I find them to be unsanitary and difficult to use (especially when it comes to skincare), so the packaging is definitely a win in my books.
The most impressive ingredient listed in this line is the kakadu plum extract. It is one of the world’s most potent sources of vitamin c and is used to help brighten and improve the overall appearance of your skin.
Another notable ingredient added into each of these products is lentil extract. The lentil extract is used to tighten your pores and improve your skin’s texture.
The application for each of these is very smooth and the serum and day cream wear very well under cosmetics. I personally love allowing them to soak into my skin for at least 10 minutes prior to applying any makeup, as it really improves how my foundation sits and looks on my face throughout the day.
I find that they all have quite a strong, flower-y fragrance to each of them, so if you are somebody who is sensitive to full-bodied scents, I would probably steer away from this line.
However, if you’re okay with strong fragrances and have mature or dry skin, I really recommend giving this line a go, as I believe it’ll really help unify your skin’s texture and improve the overall radiance of your skin, as it has done to mine.
Anti-Aging Serum Corrector
This antioxidant-rich serum has a very lightweight, non-greasy formula and comes off very smooth on the skin. It’s quick absorbing and very hydrating, making it easy to apply the day cream corrector over it. To be honest, I don’t have a lot to say about this product, as I don’t find it stands out from other serums, however, it definitely does fulfil its purpose and gets the job done.
Anti-Aging Day Cream Corrector
This corrector happens to be my favourite out of the bunch. It has a light to medium consistency when it first comes out of the pump, however, when it’s massaged into the skin, it becomes completely weightless. I see such a massive difference in my skin’s luminosity and texture, just from using this product alone. It’s very hydrating and makes my skin look revived, fresh, and smooth. If I was to recommend one corrector out of the 3 products I purchased from this line, this one would definitely be it.
Anti-Aging Night Cream Corrector
I personally don’t tend to love night creams because they usually feel quite heavy on the skin and unfortunately, this didn’t change my outlook on them. I’ve used this about 5 times, and eventually gifted it off to my girlfriend. Go figure, this corrector actually happens to be her favourite out of the 3, as she prefers thicker moisturizers. So, she’s been using this night cream during the day, and I’ve been using the day cream to double off as a night cream. Aside from my own personal preference, this corrector has a thick consistency and has a very smooth, velvet-y feel to it. It’s definitely moisturizing and feels very luxurious on the skin.
I’m completely obsessed with the packaging of these products; particularly the pump bottles. They’re very chic and swanky-looking. As far as fragrance goes, these products are definitely not for everybody. They have a very strong scent, and even though I’m not sensitive to smell, I still find the fragrance in them to be very powerful. The day cream corrector will definitely be a repurchase for me, as it made my skin look and feel absolutely wonderful. Overall, these correctors are very moisturizing, brightening, and nourishing, and are filled with tons of antioxidants, making them perfect for someone who has dry or mature skin.
