Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer: This is a staple concealer in my makeup routine; I love it! It’s a lightweight formula that offers medium coverage and is perfect for anybody who has a normal to dry skin type. The sponge applicator is really soft and works well to disperse product evenly around the eye area.
Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eyeliner: I’ve been using this eyeliner since I was a teenager and it’s still one of my favourites for creating the ever popular feline flick. It dries quickly and has very opaque coverage, however my favourite part about it is how simple application is, thanks to the tip of the wand. It’s a stiff brush that allows for great control and precision. All I do is lay it on its side, glide it across my eyelid, and voila — I have a cat eye.
NYX Dark Circle Concealer: This under eye colour corrector is so, so good. It comes in 4 shades to accommodate different skin tones. This is important because every complexion shade needs different levels of orange pigment to help neutralize the blue tones found in dark undereye circles. All I do is take my finger and swirl it around the pot, making sure to warm up the product prior to tapping it onto my dark circles. A little goes a long way, so make sure to only focus it on the darker areas of the under eyes (usually the hollows) and not all of it.
Maybelline Falsies Mascara: If you’re on the market for a mascara that’s inexpensive and has the elusive thickening and lengthening combo, this one is definitely it. It has a curved wand that mimics the contours of the eye shape, which allows you to work the product into every single corner lash with minimal effort. The formula is fairly wet, however it dries down quickly; resulting in beautiful, full lashes.
NYX Slide-On Eye Pencils: These are amazing! They’re ultra creamy, so they glide on without tugging on the skin, but more importantly, they are intensely pigmented. Seriously — Nyx didn’t come to play when they created the vibrant colour payoff in these pencils! The liners also come in a variety of different shades (Sunrise Blue is my favourite), so you can have the opportunity to play around with a range of different colours all for an affordable price.
Maybelline Fit Me Hydrate + Smooth Foundation: This will forever be one of my favourite dewy foundations. It gives the skin such a fresh, hydrated, and youthful appearance — I’m obsessed. This is best suited for those who have a drier skin type, as the finish is very luminous (which can be off-putting for those with oily skin). It’s super lightweight, offers sheer to medium coverage, and has SPF 18 in it as well.
